Pros: does what it says it will do
Cons: be careful w/smoothing it's like a lye-based mix.
I followed the instructions to the letter, and WOW, great results,(ok i also prayed first)
Everyone thinks I went to the salon, but I did it myself with Africa's Best Organic Regular strength relaxer, great shine, and silkiness, even bouncy, bangs blew in the wind and fell back in place. I'm stickin with Africa's Best !

I love this relaxer!! I was kinda skeptical about using it first, but this is my second time purchasing the perm and I have to say I've been pretty impressed so far!! My hair has been more manageable and it really feels healthy. I would definitely recommend it to a friend to try!!

OMG! This is the "best" relaxer I have evahhhh used!! I have been relaxing my hair since I was 19 and I am now 50. I stopped relaxing for several months to give my hair a break (it was literally breaking from my last relaxer). When I chose to relax again (Oct 27, 11) I was skeptical about using Africa's Best because it was a low cost brand, but I am here to tell you, it is better than any expensive brand that I have used in the past! My hair is manageble, silky soft and has stayed staighter longer, The conditioner is awesome and I recommend this product to everyone!

It lasts longer than my old relaxers. My hair is more straighter, and manageable, and the relaxer is easy to use.

I have to completely agree! Africa's Best might be on the cheap side as far as no-lye relaxers are concerned, but don't let that fool you! I've used just about every no-lye system out there and none of them have every came as close to straightening my very thick curly hair as this one has! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

This is good for people who have thick hair and sensitive scalps. I hate other perms that leave you with a burning head and dry hair. Africa's Best is quick and simple whether you are doing it yourself or getting help from a beautician. I don't like to blow dry my hair, and with this relaxer, I can towel and air dry my hair if I want. It's that good. The conditioner included is one of the best I've ever used when it comes to relaxer kits. Overall, it's a great value and if you follow the instructions, you'll have great results.

I love all of Africa's Best's products. I have very thick hair and when my new growth comes in my hair feels like it's straight out of Africa! When I use this perm my hair blows in the wind!
